What You Will Do
- Help define and continuously evolve GoPro’s visual expression
- Ensure the consistency and quality of our design language, systems and guidelines
- Create assets for a wide range of customer touch points (retail, point of purchase, web, events and more)
- Create memorable designs in multiple formats including print, digital, video, apparel and packaging
- Collaborate closely with some of the most talented people you’ve ever met from a wide range of departments and backgrounds
- Inspire those around you with design and typographic wizardry
- Contribute wherever needed
- Create designs that speak for themselves … but also be able to convincingly present your work
Skills We’re Stoked About
- A degree in design, art or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in production of print and digital marketing—experience in retail, packaging and brand highly preferred
- A kickass portfolio
- Strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation, illustration and animation
- A keen eye for visual details and accuracy within design systems
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- The ability to feed off the energy of others and deliver under tight deadlines
- The confidence to explain and support your decisions
- A flexible approach and willingness to adapt your ideas via input from other departments
- Ability to take direction, collaborate and have fun
- Proximity, alignment and contrast are as important to you as food, water and shelter
